After selling her custom East Village apartment, Amy Hixson purchased a two bedroom unit in Harlem at 368 Saint Nicholas Avenue. The 900+ square foot condo is cozy and comfortable. However, the apartment has a modern design that may not quite fit Ms. Hixson’s taste.
Her previous condo had been extensively remodeled to include several personal touches that helped make the apartment her own. With her latest home purchase appearing to have already been extensively remodeled, one begins to wonder if she is changing her style in order to look for a more turn-key property, or if she will remodel to her own liking down the road.
368 Saint Nicholas Avenue.
Based on the listing pictures from Corcoran, the apartment was remodeled quite nicely. While the condo is under a 1,000 square feet, it appears to be very spacious based on the open floor plan and natural lighting that permeates throughout the space.
The condo boasts its own private patio with a clean cut kitchen that holds white cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The unit appears to have extra high ceilings to help make the condo “feel” bigger than it actually is.
The apartment is also at parlor level with the St. Nicholas Park, so it really has a nature/earthy feel that can be sensed throughout the entire apartment. Imagine drinking your morning coffee, and being able to look out into St. Nicholas Park. One can only imagine the peacefulness and serenity that surrounds this particular apartment based on the nearby green space.
