Following a slowdown in April, Hudson County real estate was on the rebound in May, with 25% more sales compared to April and 2% more sales compared to May 2021. Though still up year over year, prices were down month over month, with the median sales price dropping 8% compared to April and the median listed price dropping 4%. The average sales price was down 1% month over month, but remained on the rise year over year. New listings were up 9% compared to April, while days on market decreased, with homes selling in an average of 30 days compared with 36 days in April and 44 days in May of last year.
