Bordered by West 20th to West 22nd Street between 8th and 10th Avenue, the Chelsea Historic District provides nostalgic feelings to anybody walking through the area. Located on the estate that used to belong to Captain Thomas Clarke, the buildings and houses located on the District fall within specific guidelines such as having two stories and having to be fireproof. However, the buildings have their own distinct art style and feel to them with eras such as Greek Revival and Italianate within the mix.
