The Agency’s Canadian offices from Waterloo Region, Oakville, Muskoka, Brant County, Toronto West, York Region, Niagara, and Halifax came together for a productive day of volunteering at the William’s Build Factory in Caledon.
The team got busy framing up homes for the Brampton build site, an essential step in the Habitat for Humanity project. The walls they worked on will soon be shipped out to future homes, providing families with a fresh start in 2025.
A true highlight of the day? The hammering competition, which sparked friendly rivalry and plenty of laughs. From start to finish, the event was a celebration of teamwork, dedication, and the joy of giving back.
“I’m so proud to end the year on such a high note by participating in this Giveback Homes Build Day,” said Katia Bailey, Managing Partner of The Agency’s offices in Waterloo Region, Oakville, Muskoka, Brant County, Toronto West, York Region, Niagara, and Halifax. “It was incredibly fulfilling to help frame homes for future residents, knowing our work is making a lasting impact.”
“We had a truly amazing experience from start to finish,” added fellow Managing Partner Steve Bailey. “From the friendly competition to the team’s collaborative efforts, this day truly reflected The Agency’s spirit of community and commitment to giving back. Here’s to more moments like this in 2025!”
This team of local volunteers are some real altruistic all-stars; they fundraised more than $27,000 earlier this year during a Giveback Homes Golf Tournament at the stunning Eagles Nest Golf Course in Maple, Ontario, and were ready to donate their time and energy in person for this Build Day. Special thanks to Leor Godfrey, Reneeta Vigueras, Jaleel Ward, Diana Boyd, Carla Albieru, Jessie Ablett, James Milonas, Margaret Welykanycz, Alia Rahawi, Susie Kanichis, Paul Greenberg and Simon Clarke-Okah.
