Before working at Triplemint, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I’m so sad to report that before getting into real estate seven years ago, my previous jobs were all pretty normal. The one I will say I miss the most since working from home is being a front desk receptionist at a chiropractor’s office, which meant I was adjusted every day. I truly had no idea your body could feel that good with daily adjustments!
What are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far?
- Don’t put off answering an email that would take less than two minutes to answer (Which I know some agents are like she does not do that, but it’s something I’m definitely working on!)
- Keep your emotions in check. This industry is filled with such dramatic highs and lows and understanding yourself, your triggers, and when to remove yourself before you say or do something you’ll regret is so important.
- 1% better every day. Often times I beat myself up over not being amazing at something at my first attempt, when in reality that is an unrealistic expectation to hold myself to. As long as I’m working on getting 1% better every day at what I’m trying to learn, I know I will get there with many great lessons along the way.
What is the song title that best describes your personality?
Chumbawamba, Tubthumping (“I Get Knocked Down But I Get Up Again”)
What has been your proudest moment at Triplemint?
There have been so many exciting moments in the 2.5 years I’ve been with Triplemint, but by far the best moment was winning the teamwork award with Julie Reiss at the holiday party last year.
