It was a momentous month for The Agency as we gathered on the East Coast in New York and New Jersey to celebrate the official opening of The Agency’s East Coast headquarters. There is plenty to toast—including a gorgeous, brand new office located in the heart of Manhattan’s Union Square at 88 University Place and the success of The Agency Founder and CEO Mauricio Umansky’s new book The Dealmaker.
Sponsored by title company Agencia Abstract, Elise Leve of Citizens Bank and real estate law firm Romer Debbas, The Agency New York came together for their first sales meeting in the beautiful new office space. Agents and staff enjoyed hearing speeches from leadership, including Mauricio, President Rainy Hake Austin and Senior Vice President and Managing Partner, Molly Townsend about the future of the company, where The Agency is heading next, and how to navigate the current market. There was also an insightful panel with featured agents Elena Smirnova, Heather Cella and Jed Lewin, moderated by Mauricio that dove into tips and insights into how to be a “dealmaker” in today’s market.
The sales meeting concluded with a celebratory champagne toast to new beginnings in the Big Apple. All attendees would agree that the feeling of excitement and camaraderie that was tangible in the room.
The celebrations continued with Hudson County agents across state lines later that evening in New Jersey with a happy hour at the beloved local Del Friscos, sponsored by Agencia Abstract and real estate lawyer Jay McLee.
We’re so happy to finally be at home on the East Coast.
