Irina Shayk Splashes into her new Apartment

by | Feb 24, 2016

Out with the old, in with the new. Word on the block is Sports Illustrated supermodel Irina Shayk has traded her $3.99M West Village duplex for a $6M West Village pad. Her previous apartment – a 2,462 sq ft. beauty located on Perry Street, which she purchased in 2010, has been on the market since December and The New York Post reports that while there has been some overseas interest, no one has bit the bullet yet.

If you’re in the market for a model worthy apartment, hit this place up. Rumor has it that the apartment’s walk-in closet is larger than the second bedroom, at 150 sq ft. Digging a little deeper, inquiring minds can’t help but wonder whether this housing transition is connected to her split from Real Madrid soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and subsequent budding relationship with movie star Bradley Cooper. After all, if you had the choice, would you want to live in the same apartment you purchased with your ex? Wouldn’t we all want to take the new boyfriend, new house approach?

According to the listing by Douglas Elliman, Shayk’s new loft is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom unit with a secluded 452-square foot terrace located in the Witkoff Group-developed 150 Charles Street building. In addition, it includes a laundry room and an abundance of marble. It is also the only 2-bedroom residence in the building. 150 Charles Street is probably used to the paparazzi crowds, as rock star Bon Jovi also purchased a 10-room unit within the building for $12.99mm. Maybe they’ll play some concerts, considering Shayk is also reportedly a formally trained classical pianist.
