As of September 2021, Hudson Square holds the most expensive monthly rental prices for a 1-bedroom apartment, with a median price of $7,250 / month. The least expensive neighborhoods are tied between Inwood and Fort George, both located in Upper Manhattan and costing $1,750 per month in rent for a 1 bedroom.
When it comes to sales, NoHo is the most expensive neighborhood for a 1-bedroom apartment, with a median sale price of $2,197,500. The least expensive neighborhood is Fort George, with the median sale price for a 1-bedroom coming in at $344,000.
