We’re embracing the buzz in Canada! The Agency’s very own Alexia Umansky of The Umansky Team and Matt Lionetti, Managing Director of The Agency Toronto West, took the stage at Canada’s 2023 Buzz Disruption Conference. Held at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex in Toronto, the event gathered real estate thought-leaders and disruptors from across the country for a series of panels and interactive discussions on the latest industry shifts, emerging trends and what could be next.
Over the last few years, The Agency has expanded its presence throughout Canada and now operates 16 offices across the country. Katia Bailey, Broker of Record & Managing Partner for The Agency in Canada, was also in attendance.
During a special “fireside chat,” Alexia and Matt discussed “Leveraging Brand Power to Build a Trusted Real Estate Business.” They each touched on how they have utilized The Agency’s globally renowned brand, cutting-edge marketing and technology, and dynamic public relations team to cultivate their local clientele base, inspire trust and better position themselves as leaders in their regions.
“As a member of The Agency Toronto West, I was excited to be a part of this event, which brought together so many bright, inspiring professionals,” says Matt. “It’s always refreshing to connect and share experiences and ideas. And of course, I loved chatting with Alexia.”
Next, Alexia contributed to a lively panel on “Next Generation Disruptors.” This discussion put dynamic individuals in the new generation of real estate professionals center stage, where they each shared how they are creating their personal brands, building thriving real estate businesses and winning clients in a highly competitive industry. Moderated by Richard Silver of Silver Burtnick & Associates at Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, the panel also featured Elena Saradidis, Mason Galvao, Phil Golfi and Fabion Foote.
During the session, Alexia discussed the importance of having realistic expectations, amplifying opportunities through the use of authentic marketing creatives, capitalizing on the reach of social media, building powerful networks and leaning on professional mentors for support when needed.
“Canada has such an amazing, diverse real estate landscape and The Agency’s impressive expansion in the nation over the last few years has been so exciting to see,” says Alexia. “I loved spending time with all our incredible Canadian team members during this conference. I can’t wait to visit again soon!”
