Not able to make it back home for Easter service and brunch at Grandma’s house with the family? Here are five of the best places to enjoy Easter brunch right here in NYC.
Chefs Club
PC: Luxury Attache
Chefs Club in Nolita, one of our favorite Manhattan locales with an awesome environment and even better ambiance, will be offering an Easter brunch buffet this weekend. The menu will include festive dishes such as deviled eggs with trout roe, roast leg of lamb in hay, Bloody Marys and Bellinis, plus much more. The buffet will be priced at $85 per person, with a $25 option for children 10 and under. The buffet starts at noon and the restaurant is taking reservations.
Humboldt & Jackson
PC: Edible Brooklyn
This Brooklyn bar and event center run by restauranteur Bill Reed is a popular Williamsburg locale with affordable, yet artfully crafted food options. As our favorite option for those on a budget, Humboldt & Jackson will be offering an Easter brunch buffet for only $15.99. The menu includes:
- Sour cream and nettle scrambled eggs
- Garlic mashed potatoes and ham steak
- Roasted market vegetables
- Candied bacon strips
- Biscuits with mile-high gravy
- Table waffles with whipped cream and honey
- Cinnamon bun bread pudding
- Carrot cake
- Yogurt with granola and fresh fruit
For the price, the menu offering is huge. Plus, we would honestly pay the $16 just for the candied bacon. Throw in cinnamon bun bread pudding, biscuits, and mile-high gravy and its really a no-brainer.
Rainbow Room
PC: New York Times
If you feel like lavishing yourself this weekend, Easter brunch at the Rainbow Room should definitely be on your radar. The special Easter brunch menu will be offering elegant dishes such as smoked salmon and caviar deviled eggs, Maine lobster and American caviar deviled eggs, and carrot cake pancakes. The restaurant will be taking reservations for the brunch feast from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The meal will cost you $125, but that’s a small price to pay for the one-of-a-kind menu offering prepared by Executive Chef Robert Aikens. For entertainment, Avalon Jazz Band and Vy Higginsen’s Harlem Gospel Choir will be performing.
Tavern on the Green
PC: Tavern on the Green
Central Park’s iconic Tavern on the Green will be hosting a prix fixe menu featuring Tavern French Toast with candied almonds and whipped cream, organic Scottish Salmon, and braised spring lamb with roasted vegetables. The seating will be outdoor and accompanied by live jazz. The brunch will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a price of $95 for children under 12, and $125 for adults.
Landmarc
PC: Landmarc Restaurant
Landmarc, an upscale yet relaxed TriBeCa establishment, will be offering an expanded Easter brunch menu to accommodate the festive spirit of the weekend. The expanded menu will include:
- Lamb chops with asparagus, pea salad, and sweet potato croquette
- Housemade manicotti with fontina and roasted pumpkin seeds
- Warm carrot cake with candied walnuts and cream cheese ice cream
Brunch will start at 11:00 a.m., but we recommend calling ahead and making a reservation, that way you can enjoy all that TriBeCa has to offer beforehand.
