5 Nightlife Activities in Midtown West

by | Sep 19, 2014

The social scene in Midtown East leaves much to be desired. However, it isn’t all terrible. There are a number of bars to help expedite your recovery from a tough day at the office. Here’s our list of 5 things to do after finishing a tough day at work or when you just want to drink!

1. The Stag Head

If you’re a beer connoisseur, hit up happy hour at The Stag’s Head. They have outdoor seating and offer 16 rotating drafts of all-American craft beer and over 50 bottled and canned beers.

2. Sofia Wine Bar

If you’re a wine connoisseur, check out Sofia Wine Bar. This charming and sophisticated lounge has an extensive wine list accompanied by a selection of small dishes perfect for your glass of wine.

3. Uncorked Wine and Tapas

Uncorked Wine and Tapas is another chic spot serving both wine and cocktails with a slightly more exotic food menu including Moroccan-Spiced Prawns and Croque Monsieur Bites.

4. Manchester Pub

For something a tad less classy and a bit more rugged, head to Manchester Pub and enjoy the game with buddies while sipping (or chugging) one of their 16 craft beers. Chase it down with some Hawg Wings (BBQ Braised Pork Shanks) and Soft Pretzels with Truffle Cheese.

5. Upstairs at the Kimberly

Upstairs at the Kimberly is your destination for that swanky rooftop scene we all love but hate to admit. This €œhyper-modern, neo-gothic€ décor is unique and glamorous while maintaining the feel of being in your own backyard. Go cool off in the summer with The Glazier cocktail and a Caramel Ice Cream Sandwich.
