In 2023, The Agency embraced its commitment to community service. Our global team came together in every market to support charitable events and initiatives—from Giveback Homes Build Days to beach clean-ups, from boot camps to art shows. Overall, our teams logged more than 3,847 hours of volunteer work in 2023. Here’s a rundown of 2023, a year of giving back at The Agency.
Our Annual Red Heart Award
We were proud to name The Agency Seattle as the recipient of our 2023 annual Red Heart Award. This honor goes out to only one of our offices and spotlights a team that has gone above and beyond to empower others and represent The Agency’s philanthropic mission on both personal and professional levels.
Led by Managing Partner Jen Cameron, The Agency Seattle was an inspiration throughout the year. Here are the standout accomplishments their incredible team achieved these past 12 months:
- 130+ Volunteer Hours

More Charitable Initiatives
100 Miles in May
Our team across the globe took to the streets, trails, sidewalks and beaches for our annual 100 Miles in May Challenge, which raised funds for our philanthropic partner, Giveback Homes.
From Turks and Caicos to Los Angeles and everywhere in between, agents and team members participated in the month-long challenge, logging a total of 4,409.61 miles and raising $4,647—all of which will go straight to funding our upcoming Giveback Homes Build Days.
Earth Day Global Clean Up
This year’s Global Clean-Up Day landed on April 24th, and in celebration of Earth Day, volunteers participated in hundreds of combined hours of clean-up across 22 locations.
Clean-up sites ranged from beaches to city streets, parks, gardens and trails across the U.S. to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Read more about our team’s efforts on The Agency Journal.
World Wish Day
For the second year in a row, The Agency partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to support its mission of bringing incredible wishes to life for children with critical illnesses around the world.
The Agency’s annual partnership with Make-A-Wish was inspired by our own VP of Marketing, Nicole Montgomery and her son Zack, who battled kidney cancer at the age of four. During Zack’s treatment, the Make-A-Wish Foundation contacted the Montgomery family to grant Zack any wish of his choosing. Zack wished for his family to spend a week at a dude ranch in Colorado.
Today, The Agency family celebrates Zack’s health, and Nicole and Zack have pledged to help make other kids’ wishes come true, knowing that sometimes a little wish can bring hope and joy into fearful situations.
To support the Montgomery family’s mission, The Agency created a special fundraising page to benefit current and future Make-A-Wish recipients.
The Agency FORUM x Say Goodnight to Hunger
In November, we held our annual Forum in Austin, Texas, and—in addition to embracing four fun days of networking, expert panels, educational workshops and lively celebrations—we donated 450 meals to Say Goodnight to Hunger.
As we concluded the year, many offices around the globe hosted coat and toy drives to bring additional warmth and joy to our communities.
Well done team on another beautiful year of giving back!
