The newest residential offering to grace The Wilshire Corridor, The Liddel has made its official debut, unveiling a collection of 56 contemporary residences and amenities. The grand opening celebration welcomed VIP guests through the front doors for the very first time, showcasing a thoughtfully curated design vision unlike any other condominium offering on the Wilshire Corridor.
The latest residential offering from the visionary developer Palisades features a unique integration of classic style and modern design, using rich colors, textures and finishes to elevate the living experience. One to three-bedroom residences and penthouses feature up to 2,706 square feet of open-plan living with expansive windows, European-inspired kitchens and curated design finishes, such as wide-plank, white oak floors. Many residences feature spacious terraces, while select penthouses boast private rooftop terraces.
Residents enjoy a host of amenities and services, including 24-hour concierge, valet service, a Club Lounge with a bar and fireplace, a Wine Room, Private Dining Room, Catering Kitchen, Garden Lounge, Fitness Studio and stunning Rooftop Terrace. Common areas feature design by renowned interior architect Jamie Bush.
“With The Liddel, we wanted to acknowledge the design savvy of our clientele,” Jamie explains. “We set out to embody the spirit and vitality of a sophisticated yet casually Californian style of modernist living.” Though modernist in its roots, The Liddel uses a combination of vintage and custom contemporary pieces, as well as an eclectic mix of wood, metals and fabrics to bring the common areas to life. The unexpected, bold design vision helped inspire The Liddel name, which is also the last name of Alice in “Alice in Wonderland.”
Guests of the grand opening event were greeted by valets in the private motor court and ushered into the entry salon. Directional signage, quoting Alice in Wonderland—”Which way ought I go from here?” and “Curiouser and curiouser!”—led guests to the Private Dining Room, Club Lounge and Garden Lounge. There, guests enjoyed delicious cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails, such as signature cocktails The Mad Hatter and The Cheshire Cat, crafted by Bites & Bashes. Next, they proceeded to the three furnished model residences and the rooftop terrace, where an elaborate strawberry and champagne station awaited their arrival. View images of the event below.
“The Liddel introduces a fresh take on condominium living to the Wilshire Corridor, where demand for new, contemporary residential offerings is in high demand and low supply,” explains The Agency’s Don Heller, who represents sales at The Liddel. “We are thrilled to open the doors to this much-anticipated offering and bring an innovative design perspective to the coveted Wilshire Corridor neighborhood.”
