The results are in for REAL Trends’ “The Thousand 2017,” and The Agency is thrilled to have 13 of its agents recognized among the best of the best. In partnership with The Wall Street Journal, the annual ranking is among the most prestigious in the industry, paying tribute to the top 1,000 real estate professionals in the U.S. by sales volume.
CEO and Co-Founder Mauricio Umansky was named the Number 5 agent in the U.S. with a total sales volume of over $430.5MM. 2017 marks Mauricio’s seventh consecutive year (excepting 2011, when he didn’t submit due to Co-Founding The Agency) placing in The Thousand’s Top 10. This year, Mauricio represented one of L.A.’s highest-ever recorded sales, The Playboy Mansion, which closed for $100 million.
Santiago Arana, a principal partner at The Agency who leads its newly opened Pacific Palisades office, ranked number 23 in the country with a staggering $201.8MM in sales volume, and Cindy Ambuehl, one of The Agency’s top performers, ranked number 40 in the U.S. with an impressive $158MM in sales volume. Also topping this year’s list are Farrah Aldjufrie, James Harris, David Parnes, David Solomon, Anna Solomon, Don Heller, Craig Knizek, Blair Chang, Eric Lavey, and Jeff Kohl.
“2016 was an incredible year for The Agency,” says Mauricio. “I’m proud to be in The Thousand’s Top 5, but I’m even more proud of my fellow agents, both on and off this list, who have made The Agency the international powerhouse it is today.”
