Celebrate National Rosé Day

by | Jun 10, 2016

June 11 is National Rosé Day. Walk into any store these days and you will see more rosé than ever. From the classics to the trendy newcomers, it goes well with almost any summer activity or food choice and to many, it’s considered their “summer water.”

In honor of the holiday and of course the season, below are some of our favorite picks.

Rosé de Pressée — This French rosé is light enough to sip all day. A blend of Merlot, Cab Franc and Syrah, this bottle contains notes of fruits and flower petals. Around $11 retail.

2015 Edmunds St. John Bone-Jolly Gamay Rosé — A critic’s favorite, from one of California’s best traditional producer, this rosé is fresh and light-bodied with tart berry flavors. Around $23 retail.

Chateau Peyrassol — It has a delicate floral bouquet, joined by a mineral and fruity frame with greedy notes of red currant, strawberry, and peach. To find this one, you may have to visit your local wine shop. Around $20 retail.
