The Agency is pleased to welcome the latest addition to our growing team, Lauren Flury, a Los Angeles native with a unique perspective on the process of buying and selling real estate. Lauren began her career in residential permitting, which broadened her range and made her uniquely adept at recognizing the potential in a property, determining its ultimate value and envisioning what it could become in terms of an investment.
“My background in residential permitting allows me to advise my clients on the true value of a home; what it would take to secure permits for development, expansion or renovation — details that can make or break a deal,” Lauren explained. Most importantly, her passion for real estate stems from her love of working with people. She thrives on getting to know her clients, their needs, the needs of their families, taking the stress and anxiety out of the journey and guiding them on the search for the perfect home, which Lauren says is the most rewarding part of the process as an agent.
Lauren’s decision to join The Agency stemmed from working with Principal and Partner Santiago Arana during the sale of a property in the Pacific Palisades.
“The Agency’s level of excitement about real estate was infectious, and I was excited to be a part of that,” Lauren said. “Also, their full-service approach means my clients will be in the best of hands, not just getting me as an agent, but getting a marketing and advertising team, a transaction coordinator and every other working piece of the firm — services that extend far beyond the sale of a home.”
“In working with Lauren, I experienced her enthusiasm and dedication to her clients first-hand,” Santiago said. “It was clear that her caring and genuine approach truly resonates. Adding someone as well connected and intelligent as Lauren to the team is a great thing for The Agency.”
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Lauren attended Loyola Marymount followed by UCLA. She is extremely knowledgeable on the vast landscape of the luxury market, specializing in her hometown of Pacific Palisades as well as the Santa Monica, Brentwood and Beverly Hills markets. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys playing tennis, volunteering for dog rescues, catching the Lakers games and spending time with her husband, daughter and their American Eskimo, Indiana Jones.
