To uncover some of the latest and greatest celebrity properties hitting the market, The Insider turned to none other than The Agency’s James Harris. In the video, the Million Dollar Listing star takes us from George Clooney’s 22-room lakefront estate in Italy to Johnny Depp’s French Chateau style retreat in France, two truly tempting homes whether you are looking to buy or just in it for the celebrity “wow” factors.
First up is Clooney’s Italian villa, which he bought back in 2001, boasting 18th Century paintings on the ceilings, a sprawling master suite and stunning views of Lake Como. The property is being sold for 10 times what the purchase price was fourteen years ago. Travel to France and you’ll discover the French estate that former Captain Jack Sparrow has listed on the market for a cool $25 million. Perhaps more accurately described as a village, the 37-acre property features an 11,000-sq. ft. main residence, a “Pirates of The Caribbean” themed wine cellar, a church and even a restaurant called Chez Marceline.
Fans of Sex And The City can look to Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick’s Greenwich Village townhouse, a 1,600-sq. ft. property that sold in March at a loss despite the couple’s extensive renovations.
