Education in our community is a cause that The Agency holds dear. We are proud to see that our very own Aileen Comora and Paul Lester have supported the Friends of West Hollywood Elementary (FOWHE) for its 8th Annual Gala Auction Saturday, March 21 at the iconic Phyllis Morris Showroom.
Every year the FOWHE, a 501c(3) charitable parent organization of West Hollywood Elementary must raise more than $500,000 to maintain the many extra programs because the Los Angeles Unified School District only provides $20,000 for 500 students. These “extras” include: physical educations, music, art, technology, field trips, school librarian and much more.
In 2014 they were able to raise $126,000 and we are happy to support them in reaching their goal and hopefully exceeding it this year. West Hollywood Elementary, located in the heart of West Hollywood, operates as a member of Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in District 4. With a diverse group of students and our exceptional teachers, West Hollywood is a school distinguished as truly extraordinary.
