“Last night’s Grand Opening was a lot of fun and extremely successful…we had way over 200 people attend,” notes Michele Blackmon, a real estate agent and manager of The Agency’s brand new offices in Venice/Marina Del Rey.
Guests mingled and mixed Wednesday evening, enjoying signature cocktails and small bites created by Georgie of Delish Life, a specialty catering organization. Georgie is originally from Australia, and she has over 14 years of catering and home-design experience.
In addition, representatives were on hand for A Sense of Home, a non-profit organization that benefits Los Angeles youth. A Sense of Home places foster children in a beautiful home setting after being discharged from their foster homes. The organization graciously welcome donations of furniture for the youths’ new homes – if interested in giving, please contact Michele Blackmon.
Noted portrait photographer Kwaku Alston was also in attendance, and a number of his iconic photographs were on sale, with 50% of benefits going to Venice Arts, a community-focused arts education resource.
