Foodies will be flocking to the 5th annual LA Street Food Fest this Saturday, June 28, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena – and for good reason.
At this annual tasting event, you pay $55 for a general admission ticket and get to sample from nearly 100 vendors from 6 pm to 10 pm, many of whom would cost you the admission price alone on any ordinary night. You can eat and drink as much as you like, but this is no ordinary spread; with gourmet food, desserts, cocktails, beer, wine and even a tequila tasting tent, it’s an all-you-can-eat party you’re not soon to forget. (For the serious foodies out there, VIP ticket holders get to start grubbing early at 4 pm, for an extra $25.)
The LA Street Food Fest features a wide variety of LA tastes. There are food trucks, street carts and vendors from celebrity chefs and brand new pop-up shops. Notable chef’s and venues include Badmaash (Cliff’s Edge featuring Matt Biancianello), Dog Haus, Kitchen Mouse Vegan, La Monarca Bakery, Mama Masubi, Mariscos Jalisco, Home State (a great newbie!), Picnik, Starry Kitchen, Short Order and even that old favorite, Sushi Roku. You can view the full list of participants here.
There’s also a bar lineup featuring, among others,1886 Bar, Harlowe, and The Church Key. And don’t forget about dessert. There’s a mouthwatering sweets menu that includes The Churro Borough,Donut Friend, Fluff Ice, Salt & Straw, Ramekin, Shave It and many more. And if it’s a hot day, stop by the Iced Coffee Lounge, where you can sample buzz-worthy drinks from Cafecito Organico, Intelligentsia, Copa Vida and Verve.
