Fully Furnished Residence Features More Than $1 Million in Minotti Furniture, Décor and Curated Artwork
The Carlyle Residences, together with its exclusive sales and marketing team, The Agency, and Minotti Los Angeles, has unveiled The Minotti Penthouse. Located on the 23rd floor, the fantastic residence is the building’s last remaining penthouse and is for sale fully furnished. On April 24, nearly 100 guests, including elite members of the design community, prospective buyers and Minotti aficionados, turned out to celebrate the event. Guests reveled in the penthouse’s stunning unobstructed views to the north of Bel Air and the Hollywood Hills, the Pacific Ocean to the south and Downtown Los Angeles to the east.
Priced at $9.916 million with furniture, art and accessories included (or available for $8.85 million without), the fully furnished Minotti Penthouse is a 5,283-square-foot three-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom residence set amidst a backdrop that includes 13-foot ceilings, sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony or terrace off every exposure. This sprawling penthouse boasts a formal living and dining room, a handsome library with adjacent study and an inviting corner family room. The impeccable gourmet kitchen is finished with custom-designed Poggenpohl cabinetry in “teak dekor” while the surrounding bedrooms flaunt expansive walk-in closets topped by an illustrious master with dual his and her master bathrooms.
Minotti’s design team hand selected nearly $519,000 worth of contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories that not only reflect Minotti’s sophisticated, timeless design but also offer a level of elegance befitting a perceptive penthouse buyer. Items such as the Prince Chair and ottoman in the living room and Ioegio copper bench by Mauro Mori in the master bedroom were styled with exquisite art pieces. The infusion of artwork throughout the apartment is valued at almost $547,000.
The launch of the Minotti Penthouse comes on the heels of the recent unveiling of the FENDI Casa model residence – a fashionable two-bedroom apartment featuring furnishings from the FENDI Casa Contemporary Collection, which joined two additional residences designed by Meridith Baer. The Meridith Baer residences each subsequently sold in short order to interested buyers. Past designer partnerships in the building include two residences styled by Bowery, Elad Group, the developer of Design Group and one styled by Los Angeles designer Oliver M. Furth. These residences also sold quickly and/or brought in an unparalleled amount of interest.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Minotti at The Carlyle,” said Samantha Sax, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Elad Group. “The accelerated movement of our model residences contributed to our success in 2013 of over $80 million in sales and we anticipate continued momentum. In fact, we are already receiving promising interest in the Minotti residence and are looking forward to a continued positive response from buyers now that the Minotti Penthouse has been officially unveiled.”
As Minotti Los Angeles embarks on its 10 year anniversary celebration – after making history as the first Minotti flagship showroom in the world – the Minotti Penthouse at the Carlyle was a timely and natural collaboration.
For Mary Ta, owner of Minotti Los Angeles, the design inspiration for the Minotti Penthouse is the realization of the vision for a sophisticated buyer who enjoys travel and exploration, and is looking for a remarkable space to call home. The concept is truly complementary to The Carlyle, one of Los Angeles’ most elegantly designed towers. The Minotti Penthouse buyer will have access to the building’s incredible amenities package which includes 24-hour white glove concierge service and valet, an all-season pool, temperature-controlled wine cellar with private storage lockers, fully equipped fitness center, lounge and adjoining salon with catering kitchen, beautifully appointed private dining room with butler’s pantry, one-of-a-kind sculpture by Dale Chihuly specifically commissioned for The Carlyle, outdoor fireplace and gorgeous gardens complete with lush landscaping, a BBQ and private seating areas.
Remaining residences in the building range from 2,772-square-foot two-bedrooms to 3,535-square-foot three-bedrooms and start at $2.595 million.
