Resort Homes Are Hot Trend For 2014, Mauricio Umansky Tells FOX Business

by | Jan 28, 2014

The Agency’s CEO and Co-founder Mauricio Umansky appeared on FOX Business Monday morning to discuss the latest emerging trends in luxury real estate.

At the top of his “hot” list for 2014 are vacation homes, especially “drive-to” resort homes like the Oceanfront Casitas and Ocean Golf Villas at Terranea, located amidst the pristine coastline of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, just 30 miles south of Beverly Hills.

“I think 2013 was really hot for primary residences,” says Umanksy. “I think 2014 we’re going to start seeing a lot of people invest in secondary homes, vacation rentals and vacation homes.”

Umansky points to Terranea as a perfect example of the type of opportunity that exists for those who have the wealth and wish to purchase as a lifestyle choice in addition to as an investment.

“Why not enjoy life and create a lifestyle for their family,” says Umansky.
