The Agency is pleased to announce that Ramey Ward has joined its team of top-flight agents.
Ramey came to real estate through her passion for architecture and an aptitude for connecting with people. She does not think of herself as a traditional “salesperson.”
“I am a curator of beautiful spaces, evolving places and the art of living,” she says. “After an early career in film and the arts, I moved into real estate as a builder of contemporary architecture, a consultant to architects, designers and developers of loft projects and residential sales.” Ramey is proud that her listings consistently stand out for noteworthy design and uniqueness of site or character.
“Ramey was selling in Venice long before it became ‘cool,’ says Billy Rose, President and Co-founder of The Agency. “As one of Venice’s early adopters, she knows the ins and outs of the area. Also, having developed herself, she’s an extraordinary asset to our developer clients. When it came to establishing an Agency office in Venice/Marina del Rey, Ramey was our first choice to lead the charge.”

A native of New York City, Ramey relocated to Los Angeles in her early 20s to a career in the film industry, working in production with A-List directors on films including Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and developing her own projects as Writer/Producer. Ramey collaborated on one of the first internationally published architectural residences in Venice, then segued into real estate marketing after a stint as project director at RAD Management, coordinating all phases of the Venice Artlofts and Dogtown Station. She continues reaching into new neighborhoods with an intuitive sense of where the next gentrification will take place.
“I joined the Agency team to combine my honest, intuitive, creative style with the groundbreaking innovation of the Agency,” explains Ramey. “My mission is to bring The Agency culture and dynamism to the neighborhoods of the Westside.”
While Ramey is known as a top producer in Venice, she has also represented properties as far north as Sherman Oaks and east to the Hollywood Hills and Silver Lake. Architects and developers appreciate Ramey’s keen eye for details and thorough knowledge of process. She is proud to bring her persistence, humor, patience, dedicated attention and unflappable calm to every transaction she represents.
Ramey has a daughter in college and a son who is renovating a little house in West Adams. A dancer since age 3, Ramey balances work with Argentine Tango, Hip-Hop and Yoga. She grows her own vegetables and loves to travel – she recently visited India, West Africa and Argentina.
