Jet Off To Deer Valley For The Start Of Ski Season

by | Oct 14, 2013

Snow has already hit the mountains, which means days of powder turns and late night après-ski are almost upon us. For those looking to hit the slopes ASAP, now is the time to look into booking a vacation package at your favorite resort for the pre-Christmas ski season.

For an uber-luxury ski experience, consider the ski vacation being offered by Magellan Jets and Resorts West of Deer Valley, Utah. The two are teaming up to offer the ultimate ski vacation, including round-trip flights on one of Magellan’s private jets, luxurious accommodations through Resorts West, four VIP access passes to Deer Valley Celebrity SkiFest events, a table for 10 guests to the Waterkeeper Gala Dinner & Concert, and private concierge.

Taking place from Dec. 7 – 9, 2013, Deer Valley Resort’s opening weekend kicks off with the 22nd Deer Valley Celebrity SkiFest to benefit Waterkeeper Alliance, a nonprofit organization that promotes the availability of clean water throughout the world. The televised event brings together Olympians and celebrities in film, music and television for a fun slalom competition in Deer Valley’s Silver Lake area.

Pricing for four people for four nights, including round-trip flights, starts at  $47,250. The package also includes a 1% donation to Waterkeeper Alliance on flight and accommodations.

For Tahoe ski fans, the ski-in-ski-out Ritz-Carlton in Lake Tahoe is offering an early winter package that includes a room at the AAA Five Diamond resort and two lift tickets, with prices starting at $299 midweek and $399 on weekends.

Finally, Europe offers great ski escapes for the more adventurous travelers. Zermatt, Switzerland, home of the famous Matterhorn, will have plenty of snow waiting for you thanks to its high elevation. Supertravel Ski is offering a week’s stay at the luxury Chalet Schwarzsee the week before Christmas week for £849pp ($1358.32) from December 15-22, based on four sharing. This includes return flights to Zurich, rail transfers and chalet-board accommodation.

Stay tuned to The Agency Daily for more of where you should be heading this ski season.
