What happens when a luxury real estate and lifestyle company, an Italian super sports car maker and one of America’s “Top Chefs,” along with celebrities, tastemakers and high-net-worth individuals, all converge in one stunning location just seconds above the Sunset Strip? You get the “Ultimate Open House” for 1232 Sunset Plaza, The Agency’s new $28.8 million listing.
This powerful, California modern work of architecture, designed by the acclaimed architect Hagy Belzberg, played home to $1.5 million worth of Lamborghinis as well as food prepared by celebrity chef Michael Voltaggio of the renowned LA restaurant ink.
The secluded, resort-like sanctuary – which includes a 10,500-square-foot Main Residence, 725-square-foot Wellness Center and 1,750-square-foot Guest House – served as a breathtaking backdrop as attendees enjoyed dishes like hay-smoked asparagus with date puree, smoked sea salt and horseradish “snow”; grilled octopus with ink shells; and a quail egg “nest.”
The amazing food and stellar sunset views were enjoyed while admiring the design and understated power of the five Lamborghinis on display: the Aventadora LP 700-4, in both Roadster and Coupe form; Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera; Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder; and Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale.
To accent the culinary masterpieces, guests had the opportunity to enjoy the full range of The Macallan whiskeys, an offering of wines from Blackbird Vineyards and chocolates provided by Compartes, including custom pieces made for The Agency and Lamborghini.
