WELCOME BACK → Echo Park Lake (photo at left, courtesy of Echo Park Now), which just reopened after a $45 million, two-year renovation. Take the nearly mile-long loop around the lake or choose from one of two boardwalks—one along the North and one along the West side of the lake—to praise the signature lotus plants. We’ll have to wait a little while longer for a cafe to be built in the newly-restored boathouse, so in the meantime, HEAD ON OVER TO→ allumette for their nightly, four course dinner tastings.
GO HERE → San Francisco for the much anticipated America’s Cup sponsored by Louis Vuitton. Head to Piers 27/29 or book a private waterfront chalet to watch the Oracle and Luna Rossa yachts face off starting July 4th through August 30.
WATCH THIS → The 100th Tour de France, which kicked off this past weekend in Corsica, the first time the race has ever began on the island since its beginning in 1913. Be on the lookout for the yellow jersey which will make its way across the finish line in Paris at dusk on Sunday, July 21st.
