The Kyle by Alene Too Fashion Event, benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, was held on June 26, 2013. Organized by boutique owner Lizzy Schwartz and her business partner, Kyle Richards, at their Beverly Hills store, Kyle by Alene Too, the evening featured a fashion show, with attendees such as Brandi Glanville, who donated her time to model clothing by the talented David Lerner.
Jamie Lee Curtis, avid supporter and member of the Board of Trustees at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, spoke at the event regarding the importance of supporting children in their fight against cancer and other devastating childhood diseases and disorders, and the impact of donations. Curtis announced that Richards and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, recently join the “First Families Legacy Program,” which is a significant commitment to give and advocate in support of the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles mission.
With Skinny Girl brand drinks (donated by Bethenny Frankel) and hors d’oeuvres in hand, attendees shopped Richards’ boutique and received a 20-percent discount on items. All profits from tickets and merchandise went to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Guests were also invited to treat themselves to braiding, waxing, and eyelash services at the James Kendall Salon next door, as well as Kyle’s personal hair stylist, Pamella B. All donated their time and services. Guest were also treated to gift bags with treats from Bedford & Burns American Bistro, Pressed Juicery, David’s Shoe Salon, Zensation and Charmsies hair charms.
