The landmark Santa Monica estate known as the House of Rock is the “House of Golf” this week as the world’s best golfers, including Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Graeme McDowell and Ernie Els, can be seen playing the 13th hole of the Riviera Country Club from the home’s huge grassy yard and stunning flush-edge infinity pool.
The top pros are here playing the Northern Trust Open, one of the most respected tournaments on the PGA TOUR, and annually drawing the best players from Scotland, Australia, England, Korea, Japan, Canada and the United States.
As you can see from the iPhone photo we took yesterday, “The House Of Rock” (2009 La Mesa Drive) offers the perfect vantage point for watching this major tournament unfold.
