Nestled in the Hollywood Hills, Runyon Canyon Park has become one of the most popular destinations for hip hikers, yoga aficionados, and dog lovers. The 160 acre park is located just east of the Santa Monica Mountains with the south entrance to the park located at the top of Fuller Avenue in Hollywood. This active lifestyle area offers abundant restaurants, shopping, theaters, and entertainment. Runyon Canyon completes the options with its numerous workout and nature offerings.
There are three main hiking routes to satisfy all levels: Runyon Canyon Road (easy), the Star Trail (medium), and the Hero Trail (difficult). The hikes feature different terrains and views as you traverse through hundreds of plant species and a variety of wildlife. With destinations like Inspiration Point and Clouds Rest, the walks have built in motivation. In addition to the hiking trails, there are complimentary yoga classes three times a day (Namaste). For the dog owners, Runyon Canyon features the largest off-leash dog park in the U.S. with over 90 acres for our four-legged friends to roam freely.
Hillside Avenue runs into Fuller and is the closest cross-street to the south entrance of the park. 7259 Hillside Ave #101 is the newest property on the market in this amazing area. This two bedroom condo is walking distance to all the area has to offer and is just seconds away from the entrance to the park. Runyon Canyon becomes your backyard and Hollywood is your front.
This area is an example of all that Southern California has to offer. So pull out your workout gear and get ready to see or be seen by some of the local celebs that frequent the park.
