A touch of style and romance is being delivered via snail mail just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Hermès and the French Postal Service have collaborated on five designs for this year’s annual “Heart” collection, which over the past decade has included partnering up with such famous designers as Givenchy, Chanel, Ungaro, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Adeline Andre.
Inspired by the luxury brand’s iconic “De Tout Coeur” scarf, which was designed by Zoe Pauwels, the Valentine’s Day collection will be issued on a sheet of five stamps all sporting different designs, including swans, hearts, shooting stars and a lyre, the instrument of the messenger god Hermès. The designs go on sale exclusively on Jan. 25 and 26 at France’s “Le Carre d’Encre” store in Paris with other locations selling it from Jan. 28.
Just another reason to write to your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day, or simply add a luxury stamp to your collection.
