One-Night Stands Of The Chef Kind Continue At Bestia

by | Nov 5, 2012

It’s opening night every night for the rotating roster of chefs who are breaking in the kitchen of the newly completed Arts District restaurant Bestia as a part of the pop-up chef movement known as Test Kitchen. The concept, first popularized in 2010, allows chefs with an experimental stage for which to test new ideas before their culinary creations become ink on a more permanent menu.

Through November 11th, Bestia, located at 2121 East 7th Place, will continue to feature Test Kitchen Resident Mixologists Julian Cox & Josh Goldman as well as notable chefs from around the city and country. This hotly-anticipated trattoria, re-born from an old brick building in the Arts District, comes to us from chef Ori Menashe (Angelini Osteria) and restaurateur Bill Chait (Sotto, Picca, Short Order).

The all-star guest chef lineup has included Jason Travi (Fraiche, Riva), Micah Wesler (Mezze), and Jeremy Fox (Manresa, Ubuntu, Barnyard). To view upcoming chefs and snag a seat for what is sure to be a memorable prix-fixe meal, click here.
