The Agency’s Brendan Fitzpatrick and Jay Harris, along with Tyler Barth, hosted an exclusive cocktail reception at The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE this past Thursday to generate awareness for the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE. The reception, held in “Residence 42G” of the world-class residential tower, was the latest in The Agency’s series of Ambassador events and drew a number of Los Angeles-based entrepreneurs and entertainment executives.
Kyle Richards, star of Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and wife of The Agency’s Mauricio Umansky, was in attendance, and among those who were actively sharing their experience, as well as the amazing sunset views, on Twitter.
We talked with Fitzpatrick to learn more about the event, the Ambassador series and the extraordinary Residence that played host to the reception.
Tell us a little bit about the GRAMMY Museum reception you hosted in 42G at The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE.
Brendan Fitzpatrick:  We had about 50 or 60 people in attendance ranging from young entrepreneurs to entertainment power players. Guests were greeted with hors d’oeuvres prepared by Wolfgang Puck’s WP24, which is located on the property and renown for its modern Chinese cuisine, along with live music and stunning views from the windows of this 3-bedroom home on the 42nd floor.
It’s quite an impressive vantage point of the city, mountains and ocean from 42G. What did everyone in attendance think of the views?Â
The views from 42G in my opinion are some of the best in the building. You’re able to look down on the L.A. LIVE complex and STAPLES Center entrance, feel the presence of the large skyscrapers in the entry and kitchen and finish looking west to the iconic “HOLLYWOOD” sign and ocean from the master bedroom, guest bedroom and dining area. This was an obvious conversation piece throughout the night.
For those who were in attendance, what feature of The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVEÂ resonated the most with them?
I wanted to get a feel of what people thought about the property or what their favorite aspect was, and I found people were surprised how convenient it was to get there from Beverly Hills and the Westside. And of course, not one person dismissed the five-star services of the building — from the valet and doormen to the Residence’s private sky lobby and common areas throughout.
The reception was held as part of the Ambassador series The Agency is hosting at The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE. What is the purpose of the series, and as an agent, what’s important about hosting events like this?Â
The Agency’s Ambassador series is about giving power players from all different industries the opportunity to come together while establishing and strengthening a tight network of influential people. After all, we’re more than a real estate company at the Agency. We’re creating a lifestyle, and events like this certainly speak to that.
Thursday night’s event was a success, and there are plans to do several more Ambassador events as we continue to grow The Agency lifestyle and network. I’m really looking forward to what’s in store.
