ET’s Mark Steines Unveils Photography Collection At The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE

by | Jul 6, 2012

Emmy-Award winning journalist and “Entertainment Tonight” co-anchor Mark Steines unveiled his photography collection this past weekend at The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE, the luxury residential tower poised high above the heart of Los Angeles’ entertainment and sports district.

The photographs, including the one seen above behind Steines and The Agency’s Mauricio Umansky, were taken over the past 17 years while Steines was on assignment for ET in exotic locations around the world.

“I’d find myself in Dubai or I’d find myself in Geneva or Rome or London in these amazing locales and I’m like, ‘wow, I know I’m supposed to be interviewing Brad Pitt right now but look at that tree,” said Steines.

The photographs will be on display at The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE for the next three months by appointment only. Several images from his collection will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Lighthouse Medical Missions to help those in Sierra Leone.

“I’ve been to Sierra Lione, my wife has been on two trips, the images are still burned in my mind and I try to share those because I think an image is a thousand words and these photos can tell more about what needs to be done,” Steines told ET. “I recently had a friend who reminded me that we need to take better care of each other, and sharing these photos reminds us that there are people out there who need us to help take care of them.”
