Dennis Hopper’s Former Home at 1712 North Crescent Heights Sells

by | Apr 2, 2012

Dennis Hopper’s former home at 1712 North Crescent Heights has sold, reports The Agency’s Aileen Comora and Paul Lester, who had the listing. The exceptionally private, 3 bedroom/3 bath, Spanish-inspired home has been owned by actor/talk show host Craig Kilborn since 2001.
Dennis Hopper moved into 1712 North Crescent Heights with his first wife Brooke Hayward in the early 1960s while he was filming Easy Rider. Hopper reportedly first took up photography while living there, often snapping photos of his famous friends who visited the home, such as Jane Fonda, Ronnie Specter and Ike and Tina Turner. The house’s street address ended up becoming the title of a photography book featuring Dennis Hopper’s intimate photos from the era.
